TFD:SB - EP13 | Megalodon, the Big Boy Shark from definitely 50 Million Years Ago, Because Science

Welcome back to TFD Summer Break! Today Christian & Scott sit down unscripted as Christian shares the possibility of a gigantic pre-historic shark (the Megalodon) still swimming the murky depths of our oceans. Christian tries convincing Scott that we know what was around "50 Million" years ago, because scientists are never wrong, and apparently hold the key to all of life's great mysteries. Scott promises to look into it more, but feels that since there is literally nobody that was alive "50 Million" years ago, Scientists can say whatever they want, and we'd have no way to disprove it. The boys also touch base on some alleged guy named Noah, and whether he did or did not craft a giant boat. More importantly, Scott accidentally pushes a story about the discovery of fragments from the alleged Ark atop Mount Ararat in the early 2000's, not knowing that this particular story was disproved well over a decade ago, therefore making him look like a jackass for rambling on about it with such vigor for 5-10 minutes (Which made it that much more of a treat for him to edit, yippee! So, sorry 'bout that gusto, your boy got passionate.) Also, the topic of Megalodon is maybe talked about for 5 minutes. Also, Scott wrote this description. Obviously, right?

Eighteen year old Bonnie Craig was a young college freshman attending the University of Alaska Anchorage. Before dawn on the morning of September 28, 1994, she left her home for school. This was a normal routine for Bonnie. Twice a week in the dark early morning she’d catch a bus to the campus. She was a diligent student who prided herself on arriving promptly for her 7am English class. However that day, she never arrived.

TFD:SB - EP6 | The Polybius Arcade Theory | The Men in Black & Addictive Video Game Experiments

Welcome back to TFD Summer Break! In today's episode, we welcome Christian back in Studio to share the story of Polybius, an alleged arcade game placed in Portland back in the 80's. Hailed as the first "internet urban legend" by skeptics everywhere, the legend describes the game as part of a government-run crowdsourced psychology experiment based in Portland, Oregon during 1981. Gameplay supposedly produced intense psychoactive and addictive effects in the player. These few publicly staged arcade machines were said to have been visited periodically by men in black for the purpose of data-mining the machines and analyzing these effects. Allegedly, all of these Polybius arcade machines disappeared from the arcade market. Polybius has persisted as a topic of interest for video games journalism and through continued interest, it has served as inspiration for free and commercial video games by the same name.

TFD:SB - EP5 | The Curious Possession of Donnie Decker | An Alleged Case of Demonic Possession Circa 1983

Welcome back to TFD Summer Break!  In today's episode, Scott flies solo in studio to bring you the curiously strange case of Donnie Decker. If you're unfamiliar with the alleged possession of Donald Decker, you're in for a treat.
In February of 1983, Don Decker, then 21, was in jail for receiving stolen property. He was granted furlough to attend the funeral of his grandfather, James Kishaugh, whom Decker claims had abused him since he was 7 years old. The first alleged paranormal event occurred after the funeral, when Decker stayed overnight at the home of his friends, the Kieffers. Don claims he felt a chill and fell into a trance-like state there, while at the same time, the walls began to ooze water. Don's friends, as well as their landlord, could not identify a source of the leaks, and it only gets stranger from there.
